I owe y’all some MP3s. Since Stereo’s been out of the indie rock loop for a week (Youth Group?) you get cuts from The Sexual Life Of The Savages, a comp I picked up on Gerald‘s recommendation a few weeks back.
If LCD Soundsystem, Maximo Park, and Radio 4 are rocking your iPod these days (it’s OK, neo-post-punk’s so hott right now) you’ll enjoy the Brazillian contemporaries of Gang of Four, ESG, and Liquid Liquid.

Thanks. Good stuff.
If Maximo Park, LCD Soundsystem, and Radio 4 are rocking your iPod right now, you’re a few months late.
Clap Your Hands Say Yeah are rocking my face off right now.
Thanks for the tunes.
wtf is “neo post punk.”
Youth Group??? Shit, I never thought they’d be the ones to make any kind of impact in the states…
If Maximo Park, LCD Soundsystem, and Radio 4 were rocking your iPod a few months ago, then you surely are a god amongst men who must find it oh so degrading to constantly be surrounded by those who lack the style, taste and early bandwagoneering skills you possess.
I was under the impression I had the rest of my life to explore and enjoy these bands. Why bother now that I’m “late”?
If Iron Maiden, Dokken, and W.A.S.P. are rocking your iPod right now, you’re a few months early.

It’s that kind of comment that proves that 90% of you fucking “poser” scenesters/hipsters enjoy music for the wrong reasons.
I still don’t understand why you’d want to hear most of them when you can just as easily pick up a copy of “Closer” or, hell, “Three Imaginary Boys” and feel a lot less used by marketeers.
If John Cale from the 70s and a bunch of random shit you limewired is rockin’ your ipod lately, then you’re me.
Hey, someone’s heard of Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Or, everyone’s heard of them, and I mistakenly thought I was one of the first to discover the next big thing in indie rock. Either way, they’re great. So is Youth Group. Skeleton Jar just blows me away every time I listen to it.
Yeah this comp is great, there’s another Brazilian post punk comp called “Nao Wave” thats good too. If you like what you hear, I also posted two tracks on azizisbored.com. Check it.
Speaking of MP3′s (or in this case MP4′s), I found a directory with The Mars Volta’s Deloused In the Comatorium CD.
Here’s the link:

I’ve just heard the one Mars Volta song that’s always on alt. radio stations… Not sure if I dig them yet.
cheers!
Another great dance comp from the Soul Jazz label is New York Noise. Great dance songs from ESG, Dinosaur L, Liquid Liquid and some others.
If Radio 4 is “rocking” my iPod I want to shoot myself in the face.
Mercenárias are just so great. I’m from brazil and I’m in a band. We’ve played with Mercenárias a month ago… they are playin’ again and it’s really excitin’…
IF you are opiniating about if music rockin’ your and others I-pods is late, early or just right, you’re nothin’ but a shmuck, poser and nauseating person!Basically..you’re late (retarded really..)…
Regards from Lisbon
Hi! I’ve missed these tracks! Is there a chance you could repost them? or send them to me?
