Late last year, the former Fleetwood Mac member Christine McVie, who left in 1998, had a feel-good reunion with her old band onstage in London. And earlier this month, Stevie Nicks told a Fleetwood Mac crowd in Hawaii that McVie would shortly be rejoining the group. Now, we have a few more details, and those details include a new album in the works. As the fan site Fleetwood Mac News points out, Lindsey Buckingham said, in a recent Maui News interview, that McVie was writing new songs for the band and that they’d hit the studio in March to record them. He also said that McVie and the rest of the band would start touring together in the fall. But the tour could start earlier. In an interview at last night’s Grammys, Nicks said that they’d “be back on the road at the end of next summer.”
