You’ve banged your head to “Cool Town.” You’ve pumped your first to “Johnny Allen.” Now, on the release date of the new album Local Losers, enjoy a video for Mean Creek’s “My Madeline.” Directed by Richard TK Hawke and James Lindsay, it features singer/guitarist Chris Keene wandering the halls of a bizarre, smoke-filled apartment building. Aurore Ounian (guitarist/back up vocals) co-stars as the smoking beauty queen character, and drummer Mikey Holland and bassist Kevin Macdonald make appearances too. But the real star is the song, which features more tremendous harmonies from Keene and Ounian and yet another side of Mean Creek’s varied yet accessible sound. Watch below.
