Apparently former Creeder Scott Stapp got thrown off a plane for being a drunk fuck, hit on some skeeze at the airport bar, and had his skank sister drive him all over Florida searching for his mystery cooze. Next up: A Gainesville Denny’s at which he was mocked by “fans.” Then a Lexapro/coke fuelled pussy hunt, documented in detail on LJ (with pictures)!

Check it out.

Can’t vouch for its authenticity … but Stapp could probably use any press he can get these days. Thanks Chrissie L. for the link.

  1. i don’t like creed either, but man, that’s a terrible thing to do to a guy that didn’t really do anything to them. i guess maybe i just feel sorry for his fall from grace, or whatever. just leave the fucking guy alone.

  2. assman  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

    first comment. suck on THAT!

  3. assman  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

    damn.

  4. It’s kind of cruel, but could have been funnier. I think the mistake they made is that they had too many people there making it difficult to pull off a more elaborate prank

  5. julie  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

i know the guy in the picture with stapp- they’re not horrible people. just bored perhaps

  6. Billy K  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

Mr. Creed most certainly deserves this type of humiliation. Every day. For the rest of his life.

  7. Yale Bloor  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

    Was Jesus there?

  8. Evan  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

My life is complete. I’m so happy, I can’t even talk. Seriously. Oh my god, that is the greatest thing I have seen or will ever see in my entire life…

    Praise the Lord!

what the fuck is wrong with you kid? hopefully you just think hyperbole is fun.

  10. janine  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

Hyperbole is more than fun; it’s the best thing ever! (not being ironic, hyperbole is fun)

  11. Billy K  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

8 trillion people use hyperbole at least 30 million times each and every day.

  12. dave f  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

you’re an idiot edward. someone who misses a joke like that probably has the entire creed discography on cd and viynl.

  13. dave f  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

you’re an idiot edward, he was making a joke. luckily, your defence of creed explains how you may have missed the joke.

  14. dave f  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

lost my browser on the first one. embarrasing.

  15. BeavisOnCrack  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

I saw Creed for $ 1.00 back in ’99. I could have done alot with that dollar. I want my dollar back.

  16. piddy ditty  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

If someone mentions hyperbole again…I’ll eat my foot!

  17. The only thing that could’ve made this story any better is if one of those kids would’ve kicked him in the crotch.

  18. Rebecca  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

    Hyperbole

  19. Sarah T.  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

Yeah, what he said : Kicked him the crotch. It’s what jesus would do.

  20. Sarah T.  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

Um…what jesus WOULD have done. Sorry. Too busy laughing at this story to check grammar.

  21. heather  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2005

don’t forget about scott getting kicked out of http://www.leeuniversity.edu for smoking pot.
He talks about in all his bios as his major low point.

  22. henry jekyll  |   Posted on Aug 6th, 2005

I guess you’re right, I shouldn’t have said that. It just didn’t seem like a joke to me; I’m still not sure I get it. Is he saying that this isn’t funny, or that it is the “greatest thing ever”? I don’t want any trouble, I just want to understand.

  23. Blonde Geek  |   Posted on Aug 6th, 2005

I think I’ve blown my funny fuse.

  24. john 2/14  |   Posted on Aug 6th, 2005

I liked the bit about his asking her if she had an acoustic guitar so that she could help him write his next his next “hit single”.

SS: “Yeah baby. I already have the title: ‘With Thighs Wide Open’. Cool, huh?”

Still think one of the best rock stories I’ve heard is when the guy acted like a complete assclown at a show in Chicago and was sued (unsuccessfully) by some of the fans in attendance. Read SS’s side of the story here:

I live in Gainesville, and while saldy I missed it, Iwould like to say it should be “THE Gainesville Denny’s”, as we only have one. With two, we’d probably have the lead singer of Staind looking for love in the other.

  26. Evan  |   Posted on Aug 6th, 2005

Oh, I was totally serious. :D

  27. Evan  |   Posted on Aug 6th, 2005

Considering the guy used to take showers with groupies backstage after concerts WHILE he was married with a son, and still claimed to be a Christian, it’s pretty fucking funny. Also, he’ll never be able to repay his debt for the crime against humanity that was “My Sacrifice.”

  28. edward hyde  |   Posted on Aug 7th, 2005

FUCK THAT Evan, you ignorant piece of shit. I won’t hold it personally against since you must not know what is funny or what a joke is, but you sodomites leaping to his defence are even worse. Let me catch you on the street and I will show you the hyperbolic beating you deserve, and so sorely need.
And Henry does NOT speak for me.

  29. callingouteddyboy  |   Posted on Aug 7th, 2005

Oh shut the fuck up. The fact you threatened to beat him up over something said on the internet, is enough for me to assume that you like Creed, and therefore “shame on you.”

  30. your mom  |   Posted on Aug 7th, 2005

I hate Creed as much as the next guy, but this is not cool. I’m with the person on that thread that hopes he sues her. Anybody that thinks this is funny needs to grow the fuck up.

  31. Evan  |   Posted on Aug 7th, 2005

What isn’t funny about that? The guy’s obviously an asshole, and he got what was coming to him. Some of you people are seriously lacking a sense of humor. I won’t hold it to you that you called me a “sodomite”, since you’re obviously an inbred half-retarded simian.

  32. henry jekyll  |   Posted on Aug 7th, 2005

I apologize on Edward’s behalf! I had no idea he wrote that, we keep very different hours as you can see! Please forgive him, me, us. My god what have I done…

  33. hooray for sodomites!
sodomy for everyone! (who wants it)
    love,
    a consenting adult

  34. David  |   Posted on Aug 10th, 2005

I was with Scott before leaving to Orlando and he was sober! Sad to hear of the nights events! Leave him alone ! He is a good father and person !
    GO TO CHURCH SCOTT!

  35. Morgan  |   Posted on Aug 22nd, 2005

That was mean, don’t pick on Scott. He’s got enough on his plate….

  36. *shakes head and laughs* you all have problems, Scott Stapp is a legend and you know it’s true, Creed sucked and I know that, but come on you guys you don’t know the guy, he’s a great singer and a brilliant songwriter, his solo CD The Great Divide is awesome, I previewed it, it’s very unique and has amazing songs like Justify, and you know what, I don’t care what you say I will never change my mind that he’s better off solo and Alter Bridge sucks balls thank you and the discussion is over

  37. Lisa Marie  |   Posted on Nov 12th, 2005

I have one thing to say to that guy, “Karma.” If you don’t know what that means, look it up. It is so true. And when you experience something traumatic in your life, you will know why. Figure it out.

  38. will  |   Posted on Dec 2nd, 2005

scott stapp sounds like a jerk, but he’s probably also got some major substance abuse problem driving this idiocy. don’t feel sorry for him, but on the other hand it’s probably not necessary to kick him in the crotch repeatedly.

  39. Jebus  |   Posted on Jul 15th, 2007

Am I too late to call Stapp a douche.

YOU’RE A DOUCHE STAPP!! A FUCKING DOUCHE!! STOP USING MY NAME YOU FUCKING ASSHAT!!

  40. DevilsAdvocate  |   Posted on Aug 5th, 2008

You people are pathetic.Losers on your own rights.Have you looked at yourselves in the mirror lately? First off, the target of the prank is a famous guy. Say what you will of the guy, everyone’s entitled to their own opinion.Fact: he’s famous (whether past or present, the fact that you know him means he’s still popular) You’re not! You’re just this cool dude wannabe who wants to be popular by trying to make fun of somebody popular. Hey, I’m a cool dude because I made fun of “Scott Stapp”. Totally pathetic! Grow up!
