Watch Julian Casablancas + The Voidz’ Very Strange Tonight Show Performance
Yesterday, Julian Casablancas released the self-consciously wacky and all-over-the-place Tyranny, his first album with his new backing band the Voidz. And they marked the occasion by performing their gurgling-circus-music single “Where No Eagles Fly” on The Tonight Show. Casablancas wore a too-big denim vest with no shirt on underneath, and he kissed Fallon’s hand instead of shaking it after the performance. He also did rap-hands while performing, which is not something I remember seeing from him before. A very strange performance, all around! Watch it below.
Tyranny is out now on Cult Records.
