Work On Run The Jewels 3 Begins Next Month
Killer Mike and El-P barely wasted any time between finishing their first Run The Jewels record and commencing work on the second one. It seems they’re keeping that work ethic strong: NME reports that during a fan Q&A Tuesday at Rough Trade East in London, Killer Mike announced that work on RTJ3 begins in January. El-P also confirmed that he’ll be meeting up in Los Angeles with Zach De La Rocha, who appeared on RTJ2’s “Close Your Eyes (And Count To Fuck),” on new music by the Rage Against The Machine frontman. The excitement continues!
UPDATE: El-P says not so fast on the De La Rocha collab, but RTJ3 is definitely getting started next month. However, he added that Run The Jewels will spend a year touring the world before the next album drops.
please understand the ZDLR thing is not at all %100. y'all gonna fuck it up by jumping the gun on that one. bad luck. BAD LUCK I SAY.
