Kind Of Like Spitting, the long-running Portland band who married heart-on-sleeve indie-pop to bouncy pop-punk, broke up in 2006, but they’re back now. They’re gearing up to release It’s Always Nice to See You, a split album with the likeminded band Warren Franklin & The Founding Fathers, and they’ve shared two of the songs from their side of it, “Stress Cadet” and “Bullied By A Bee.” They’re both warm and fuzz-drenched and vulnerable punk rock songs, and there’s a lot to like about both of them.
