Atlanta overlord Gucci Mane might be behind bars, but that sure as hell won’t stop him from trolling the rap game when it needs it. Last week the hip-hop world collectively lost its shit over Drake’s very good new mixtape If You’re Reading This It’s Too Late. But for a long time he’s been trumpeting an album called Views From The 6, which is still presumably coming out this spring as promised. So obviously, Gucci had to go and name his new EP Views From Zone 6 in a smirking nod to Drake’s impending record. What I was really hoping for here was Gucci rapping over some Boi-1da and Noah “40” Shebib beats. Instead I got Lil B and Mike Will, Chief Keef and Andy Milonakis, Young Thug and Yung Gleesh — I can’t say it’s better than what I imagined, but it’s very Gucci. Listen below.
