Poison Idea – “The Rhythms Of Insanity”
The massively influential Portland hardcore legends have been steadily ripping shit for 35 years. Their new album Confuse & Conquer is their first since 2006, but it doesn’t sound like the work of people who have been quiet for a while, and it doesn’t sound like something that middle-aged men could’ve made. Instead, the Poison Idea of Confuse & Conquer still sound like pissed-off and authoritative teenagers. We’ve already posted the massively asskicking album opener “Bog,” and now you can hear “Rhythms Of Insanity,” another song that gets in, throws your shit all around, and gets out before the two-minute mark.
