As mentioned previously, AC/DC’s forthcoming Black Ice will only be available through Wal-Mart, Sam’s Club, and the band’s website. For now, you can hear the first single “Rock ‘N Roll Train” at acdc.com, where you’ll also learn the album’s out 10/20 and the band’s going on tour, their first since 2001, in late October. The song’s not bad, actually — which means we have to reserve that “Rock ‘N Roll Train Wreck” pun for Metallica.

Song is great. Hell yeah. Love the fact that they don’t mess with their formula one bit. No sellout ballads, no changes in production, etc. They know what works, and drive it into the ground.

only available at Walmart? Wow, this band couldn’t be more lame. They were good until Bon Scott died… now they are a complete parody of themselves.
I call bullshit….I bet you couldn’t even tell the difference between Scott’s voice and Johnson’s voice, you just say that because it sounds like it should be right. Actually, they are one of the few exceptions where a lead singer is replaced and they continue to make good music.
Sorry, but as much as I used to love ACDC, any band who goes Wal-Mart exclusive doesn’t deserve any positive press.
Ac-DC probably doesn’t really care about the general un-cool factor that wal-mart invokes, as AC-Dc fans generally aren’t associated with being hip trendsetters, but if AC-DC was thinking long term, they probably shouldn’t have brokered a deal with Wal-Mart. Wal-Mart lowers American wages, and raises unemployment rates by moving many factory jobs to China.
That causes people to have less money to spend on concert tickets and paraphernalia at concerts. (Even though Wal-Marts products are cheap, and your wallet doesn’t feel the initial blow when you shop there).
Wal-Mart is evil.
Yeah, all those stock boys who used to make millions got screwed when Wal-Mart took over.
