Watch Jeezy Bring Out Andre 3000, Kanye West, Usher, T.I., Bun B At Thug Motivation 101 Anniversary Show
On Saturday night, Young Jeezy celebrated the 10th anniversary of his landmark debut album Let’s Get It: Thug Motivation 101 with a big show at Atlanta’s Fox Theater. He’d billed it as a celebration of the album, and as Rap-Up points out, the show included a few guests who were on that first album: T.I. and Lil Scrappy on “Bang,” Bun B on “Trap Or Die,” Lloyd on “Tear It Up.” But the show also included a ton of guests from different moments in Jeezy’s career. He and Usher did their hit “Love In This Club” together. He reunited his old Atlanta street-rap supergroup Boyz N Da Hood. Andre 3000 came onstage to help him out on “I Do,” and it was his first performance since he wrapped up last year’s OutKast reunion tour; Big Boi emerged at the end of the song, too, though he didn’t rap anything. And Kanye West ended the show, as he and Jeezy did “Put On,” my favorite single of 2008. Below, watch a supercut of fan-made videos.
I honestly cannot remember the last time I was this pissed at myself for not being at a rap show.
