Today is Friday, which means we’re getting a new Vic Mensa track. “All That Shines” is his fifth song in as many weeks, a reflection on his rapid rise to almost-superstardom over big, fuzzy, Graduation-era Kanye synths and a booming beat: “They say everything that glistens isn’t gold/ I know that this shit could come quick as it goes.” Vic himself produces, along with fellow Chicagoans Stefan Ponce and Peter Cottontale.
