Watch Faith No More Bring Tuxedoes, A Gimp, And A Megaphone To Kimmel
Earlier this summer, when the great ’90s art-metal weirdos Faith No More appeared on The Tonight Show, riding high on their new reunion album Sol Invictus, they looked a bit like a cult. Last night, the band did musical-guest duty on Jimmy Kimmel Live, and they looked like… something else. Faith No More draped the Kimmel outdoor festival stage in all-white and wore awards-show tuxedoes. Frontman Mike Patton switched from microphone to megaphone to something that looked like a CB radio handset. And a leather-clad S&M gimp, who you might remember from some recent press photos of the band, stood or crouched completely motionless while they were playing. It was intense! They did the album tracks “Sunny Side Up” and, as an online bonus, “Separation Anxiety.” Watch both performances below.
Sol Invictus is out now on Ipecac/Reclamation.
