Sweet-and-tart power-poppers Dressy Bessy have just announced that they’ll be releasing a new album called KINGSIZED, their first since 2008’s Holler And Stomp. The upcoming record features a ton of people on guest duty (mostly instrumental), including R.E.M.’s Peter Buck, Wild Flag & the Minders’ Rebecca Cole, the Apples In Stereo’s Eric Allen, Polyphonic Spree’s Jason Garner, and more. Today, the Denver-based group has shared lead single “Lady Liberty,” a bouncy new one featuring 12-string-guitar-playing from Buck and background vocals from Cole.
