Pusha T – “Untouchable” (Prod. Timbaland)
A few days ago, new G.O.O.D. Music president Pusha T shared the lyrics to a new single called “Untouchable” on Genius. Today, he shares the song itself. It’s got a huge, clanking, Biggie-sampling beat from Timbaland, which means this follows Missy Elliott’s great comeback single as today’s second great Virginia rap moment. And Pusha sounds absolutely cold on this thing, haughty and hard, and as sharp as ever with the wordplay. The song mentions U2 and Donald Trump and ’90s Bad Boy R&B group Total, but as with most Pusha T things, it’s mostly about how Pusha is very good at selling drugs. To hear it, you have to head to the G.O.O.D. Music website and hold-and-click on the image of the flapping birds. It’s obnoxious, but it means you will stop whatever you’re doing to listen to the song. And the song is very much worth hearing. Check it out here.
UPDATE: You can now listen to the song without having to deal with the G.O.O.D. Music website, so do that below.
