I think since RoomOnFire was like a continuation of IsThisIt, we should be happy that the new album sounds different. However, I had to listen to juicebox a few times before I got the hang of actually hearing what Julian is saying. I have faith in The Strokes and the rest of the album.
Julian sounds as though, Hes actually trying this time round. He was sounding a little bored in Room on fire and it wasnt a very consistant album, As for the new song it has it has glimpses of The Strokes glory but then its diminished. Lets just hope that this isnt one of the best songs on the album and sadly now i hope the new album is as inconsistant as Room on fire, just so theres a chance that theres another song (like reptillia )that can remind me why I love the strokes. Any who, the song its self isnt a total drop. It just doesnt seem to be what Ive been waiting two years for, But Im still looking forward to the album.
Mia Swarovksi ! Melb. AUS
no its not like anything on the past two albums but kudos to trying something to do
this song kinda sounds like julian took 2 random lines from various songs and threw them all to gether but hey. i rest my case with optomism that the album will rock balls
I absolutley love the strokes. Is this it was a
masterpiece, room on fire was near perfect. This new single on the otherhand, shines light in the new direction the band is travling, and it may be away from selling out huge venues; but that may be ok. Like most people said, the base line is a little familar, but what I don’t like is the new production, its too clean cut and very “unstrokesmanlike” conduct. The new album will sell, unless its leaked and reviewed as a trash, only time will tell, either way i’ll pay $26 and go see them when they come. Cheers.
ok, firstly all you little bitches that are like, “They used ot be such a nice little pop band” shut up and go to hell. Have you just smashed your brains out with a large heavy object?
A) Pop is an abreviation for the term “Popular Music” and there for any music that is popular at the time is “Pop”
B) If you look at the tracks on all there albums you can quite clearly see a progression, they are experementing with their sound.
C) Who the hell are you guys to criticise any music whatsoever as you couldn’t make anything even comparable to what they have done in this song.
D) There not fucking Juke Boxes to churn out little teeny bopper hits cos you like it better, thats called selling out children.
Well i feel better now.. and i havent checked my spelling so im sure there is plenty of typos for you to pick me up on.
Bye Bye All
It rocks
It amazed me
I was truly awestruck
How come you all think it’s crap?
I don’t get you guys..
At first listen, this song is a contrast to everything we’ve ever heard by the Strokes, but this song grows on you.. quick. like, i’ve listened to it a total of 7 times since i got it last night from my friend. And I’m already humming it and stuff.
I think it’s a good form. And Julian Casablancas is a great conveyer and portrayer. He knows how to make us feel what he’s saying.
I always thought of the Strokes as kind of a dirty, gorgeous, tough but sensitive, pretty-boy band and this song does nothing to hinder that reputation.
WHY WONT YOU COME OVER HERRREEE?
sorry guys.
i <3 the strokes and i’m sooo looking forward to the album!!!
i dislike the singing in the verses and i hate the distortion on the bass… and the line itself. i blame their new producer david kahne who is trying to prove himself by changing the sound. Its a decent song, but the bass is too loud and you can hardly hear the rhythem guitar or drums. I also hear alot of you saying “julian is actually trying to sing” but jules does open up like that in last night and reptilia, its nothing new. the “why dont you come over here” line sounds like hes trying to sing like the hives. but overall im very upset that they lost their simplistic new york garageband sound. DAMN YOU DAVID KAHNE!
It could sounds like shit, but I like it
It’s…well…different, I guess?!? But not TOO unexpected, seeing as this is what their sound has been building up to become, after R.O.F. It’s the natural progression from album to album. But to be honest, I am missing what they used to be, but oh well. They’re the strokes, so even if they produced shit, the majority of people would eventually force themselves to think it was good because we’re all so in love with them already, and can’t think otherwise.
jules rules
i luv him
i want him to r.a.p.e me
everyone on this page are a bunch of bandwagoners, have no musical sense and are stuck on is this it… first of all the song is good,a real rock song, the lyrics are good, it’s not the same old teen age angst or relationship slip ups or whatever the fuck, it has hints of pixies, charles thompson aka frank balck in them, standing in the light fields waiting for some action… thats good shit, well hold tight kids, all of you will swallow your opinions once the cd comes out.
this new song is soooooo sick!!! Although I absolutely love the first two albums, and have been listening to them for the past four years, I think this album is going to be the best yet. NME and Rolling Stone both listened to all the tracks from the new album, and Rolling stone said this made the first two albums look like childs play, and considering Rolling Stone rated both albums at 4 stars, being excellent, I think that this album is going to be the best yet, and rock the socks off everyone!! I hate it when people jump on the bandwagon, but honestly, it bothers me that shit bands like good charlotte are popular and people like the strokes, who make amazing music, are confined to underground radio and to fans who heard from word of mouth or happened to get lucky early on and hear of them right when their first alubm was released (me, I lucked out as there was some article on them and I investigated and was forever changed in my music taste), so I hope this is their breakout album, and at least gets them somewhat more popular in the states, making them tour here more instead of in the damn UK all the time, leaving us poor fans in the US stranded, especially arizona haha. Anyways, had to let it out there, but this track efffing rocks the house!!! Sooo sickkk and casablancas is finally using his real voice, which is sickkkk!!
WELL FIRST OF ALL SCREW ALL U LOSERS WHO DONT LIKE THE SONG.. THIS SONG IS REALLY AWSOME.. WHATS WITH ALL U PEOPLE!!?! HONESTLY, IT IS DIFFERENT… A LIL MORE HARDER THEN THER USUAL STUFF BUT THAT AINT THAT BAD IS IT?!! SERIOUSLY ITS A PRETTY COOL CHANGE CUZ THE SONG IS SOUNDS HARD YET IT SOUNDS LIKE THER OLD STUFF IN CHORUS AFTER JULES DOES THE SCREAMIN… IT SOUND GOES BACK TO THER OLD STUFF.. SO I THINK ITS A LIL BIT OF BOTH .. WHICH IS FREAKIN AWSOME.. AND NO ONE MENTIONIN HOW AWSOME THE BASS IS!!!? AND DRUMS..WOW FAB KILLIN THOSE DRUMS… AND OMG ALBERTS AWSOME GUITAR SOLO?!! ITS REALLY AWSOME STUFF.. STROKES ARE GROWIN UP.. AND CHANGIN A LIL BIT OF THER SOUND.. BUT IT AINT TOTALLY A BAD THING.. WELL ANY COMMENTS.. EMAIL ME AT RUPNSARAH4EVER@YAHOO.COM… AND WELL STROKES ARE MY FAV BAND AND ALWAYS WILL BE.. THEY’LL NEVER LET ME DOWN! I LOVE YA GUYZ KEEP ON ROCKIN!
i like the new song but i wish they did something else instead of that cheesy intro. i’m pretty sure that’s the main reason why people don’t like it. for me, its the only reason i have a problem with this song at all. its so goofy.
it’s actually a pretty good song though and i love how julian has more emotion in his vocals now. its nice.
Why are people getting agressive ??? BTW i didnt like the song to start with but i came back to say I love it … The ‘chessy’ start rocks. I love the bass its like their just mucking round. Plus i like the fact the music is heavier and theres less distortion on julians voice … play nice kids
THE STROKES ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!
JUICEBOX is the best song of the year!
hello, i just came to say that at first when i heard the song i thought it was way different from the way the strokes sounded. i was very disappointed. i listened to it a lot thinking it would sound better, but no it still continued to sound bad. well i listened to it a day later and you know what, it sounds pretty good, the first part is cheesy, but keep listenin and the strokes are still the strokes kids, so don’t worry be happy!
haaai
When I heard the song for first I was totally in shock! It was so unexpected! I think i like the song, but the intro is bad..I miss the old strokes.. I hope I get used at there new style:) and I think the all star converses are gone:(
someone said that juicebox sounds like the murder city devils and nine black alps mashed-up with jim morrison on lead vocals. in totally get that that vibe in “standing in the lightfield” “standing in the lightfield”….fuck the last minute is epic. cant wait for the album
I love the Strokes.. and when I heard this song I was a bit confused. It didn’t have that origional strokes feel to it so I was a bit scared that they had changed too much. The intro is a bit odd.. totally not like them, but the more I listen to the song, the more its growing on me. The new albumn should be pretty interesting thou. I can’t wait to hear it!

Wow this is extremely from their more simplistic first two albums. I think the begginning sucks ass especially when it sounds like julian is talking and then screams about 38 seconds into the songs. The drums are also much more complicated from the first two albums. I like the hook about 50 seconds in. That sounds cool. Overall i dont like it.
i think it’s alright. very different but it has the same theme from the strokes. just a bit diff. but i think franz had a better single than the strokes. but i will always like the strokes no matter what.
Wow, so many people either love it or hate it, i just skipped to the bottom.
That vines part blows.
The so cold part is awesome.
I think the bass has too much gain.
its missing either a classic nick guitar solo, or an albert one. I think they were all drunk when they did this, fab doesn’t sound like he is wearing his green t-shirt, and i bet albert’s hair is no longer fro-ishly cool.
I think the song is ok.
I didn’t quite know what to make of this song when I first heard it, but I think it’s really good. The intro’s odd at first and I for a second didn’t even think it was the strokes…but it’s not that different from the kind of thing they did with the intro of reptilia…perhaps Juicebox just needs a little drum intro before the bass kicks in so it doesnt sound so full on…
but the pre-chorus is fuckin awesome, some of the most energetic shit the strokes have come up with yet, the “we got a city to love” is pure genius. the actual chorus still doesnt sound quite right to me but it’s not bad. I’ve got to hand it to them, an entirely different vibe from Last Nite or 12:51… I didn’t know if they could do it.
Juicebox is a worthy addition to the Strokes catalogue… better than Meet Me In the Bathroom, worse than What What Ever Happened… but certainly not shit. i would like to read the lyrics in their entirety as its hard to hear sometimes.
but yeah, pretty wicked song. much better than Franz’s “Do You Want To” or Death Cab’s “Soul Meets Body” or most of the pre-album singles we’ve seen this year.
i luv this new sound. the strokes are simply amazing
the bassline sounds like a bad tv series. i only really like the end of the song…when that “no no no”
wake up…that song is amazin. The third album is their big test and i fink its gna b great, ne1 agree?
I think Juicebox is definetly a different sound for the Strokes as their not heavily relying on their idols the Velvet Underground or Television.. I think this song shows promise and potential for the new album.. Although I liked room on fire it was like listening to the sequel of Is This It, so although Juicebox may be different at least it something a bit fresh…
Get Gorden back, this new david guy should stick to the crappy ass bands hes worked with in the past, Julian is not mark magrath, and The Strokes are sure as hell not sugar ray, GORDEN COME BACK!!!
It’s good to here a different sound from a great band. I like the song a lot, it’s heavier in a lot of ways compared to their older songs. It’s cool watching a band grow from record to record, hopefully their upcoming record will live to the rest and so far so good.
Ify ou listen to it 5 times straight you won’t be able to quit humming “you’re so cooooooold”
FINALLY they have something out,its been forever!I really like it,his voice sounds good, like always. The beats ..new.
i love the strokes & my computer’s nearly killing me cos it’s not letting me download juicebox. i need this song! can someone please send me a good link or a file? my address is pip_nz@hotmail.com it would make my day!
the song’s pretty ok. it sounds new, finally!
i’m gonna see them live in october (wooo), so i guess i’ll make up my mind when i hear it then.
someone said it sounded like system of a down. i agree: it’s so freaky O.o the bass and the first 2 lines remined me of “boom” and no, not that hot. but the ending, like some said, it’s awsome, very stroke-ish
i think it’s amazzzzing! best one from the strokes so far, even if it is a bit different from there usual.
awesome
i think it’s amazzzzing! best one from the strokes so far, even if it is a bit different from their usual.
awesome
the best parts are when he says “you’re so cold”, “you’re so cold”
I really like this song for me the best part is the part you guys hate “Why dont you come over HEeere” and the batmanish bass.
FANTASTIC SONG! anyone that says any different is a gay twat who just wants something to complain about because they live such a sad life – also, anyone that’s called it ‘bad’, could you ever write even a song half as good as this? The answer is no.
anyone who has dissed the strokes is just a jealous cunt, who cant recognise genius when they say it. not only are they the coolest band alive, they have the goods and talent to back it up. there going in a different direction. i love it. just sit back and let them do their thing, dont hate them for ebing somehting you dont like. oh, and is this it and room on fire are completely different, room on fire is more mature and expermental with sounds and wasnt as srushed as is this it, they took their time on and the smae with htis album. so dont put pointless shit on here that no1 appreciates. die hard strokes fan-fab or julian wannabe-joe
So much fucking hate and love for this song going around. I’m glad to see that there’s a little excitement going around this time, since Room on Fire didn’t stir much up aside from those who were already planning on buying it.
I do agree that the opening bass-line is just a tad bit… stupid. It’s not bad in terms of contrasting the other parts of the song, but I think they should have cut down on the intro and started at around :12. I also like that the solo is a little less loopy than what they’ve typically had in the past. Room on Fire was great, but I’m glad they’re trying something new.
Even if this album eats total shit, they’ll learn from it and the fourth album will probably strike the right balance between experimentation and the old stuff. Regardless, I’m not gonna bail on ‘em till the album after this one. Now if that one completely blows…
I think juicebox is much more of what i excected to be. The riffs are excellent and about the linebass… WOW!!! Jules’s voice is gorgeus. It’s something completely different compared to the last 2 albums but is great. And if you don’t like it, well wait until you listen the whole album, hard to explain is great but it isn’t the best of is this it, don’t you think so? the same can happen to juicebox.
THE STROKES RULE
The baseline reminds me of the song from Degrassi’s Zit Remedy…and that’s not a good thing. Just joking…it’s f’kin chilled. Nothing wrong with this song at all. Anyone who’s hating on it is adverse to evolution. The band hasn’t let you down in the past…why lose faith now? Strokes rule.
Is that the best you got? The store room’s out of paper clips. I have to take my daughter to the orthodontist.
stroke it
I like it. Enough said.
I like it too.
I know he’s saying “You’re so cold”, but it sometimes sounds like “Nicole, you’re so cold” when he starts to say it.
A little help deciphering here….
im just wondering how this would change there live act… like it seems they will be rocking ut a lil bit more.. i duno if this has anything to do with the price of fish but yeah…. i like it.. heard it for the first time at a bar last night because my computer has been stuffed and as soon as i herd that voice i was like fucking yeah… any ways its no is this is, but either was room on fire.. cant wait to hear the whole album but… sorry bout the shit talking
does anyone know were i can get the full lyrics to the song?
Holy smokes! When i first heard this song i wasn’t sure what to make of it. It was nothing that i expected. The first time i heard the bassl line and julian come in singing i was like WHA?! the strokes have got more heavy in this album? but then you get through the song, and it turns into this ace melody, with actually good singing thats clear and crisp. Its very different to their two other albums, but you can still feel the original strokes pezazz in this song. alas! i was looking for hte lyrics and could not find them. this song is certainly a “grower” as the first time you hear it you are confused. Although i must say i listened to juice box, adn then “is this it” came on. I was freaked out even more.
ALso this song does make me want to become a 70s spy.
And also scream and someone very angrily
nice…very nice indeed. I like it, the beats r nice n that bass line if pretty sweet and catchy. Gets real good around 39 seconds. Good that thet are tryin something new and different.
GO THE STROKES!!!!!!!!
its a hell good song. Every strokes fan i know including myself loves it, its original, you’ll have to agree and stop complaining if you dont like it coz if you cant cope with the fresh new strokes than why are you a fan and why are you POSTING SHIT??? arghh, haha im tired
Cya
GENIUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ya bottom line is…this is the strokes and it fucking rules!
I like Julian’s this unmerciful screaming!
I LOVE IT
wow! i absolutely love this song sooo much it is the greatest! now we kno he can sing! well i think he can soooooo much i love it!
i think the strokes have been listening to Franz Ferdinand a bit.
It’s so fucking danceable, it’s stellar.
though i am a huge strokes fan, i have to agree with most of the comments. the first thirty seconds are excruciating and i swear i could hear Jet in the chorus. i do like the fact that julian opened up his vocals a little more.. he’s bringing jim morrison back from the dead!
its got a velvet revolver kinda bassline thing going on. and then franz ferdinand sings at the start for a while!
Is this it and Room on Fire are two classic albums and naturally its gonna be hard to live up to that.
agree that hes better singing a ‘bored’ style but disagree that the album can get any worse than that song.
Everyone’s been waiting for the strokes to try something different just so they could slag the life out of them because nobody can knock any of thier previous masterpeices.
I fucken’ love this song, it’s the shit supre fucken awsome you guys rock
I fucken’ love this song, it’s the shit supre fucken awsome you guys rock fuck the haters that hate on this single ’cause it rocks!!!!!!!!!!!!
This song is fuckin’ genious, if you can’t appreciate a different approach to music then you should just go whack off to Sigur Ros.
At first I thought it to be a lil cheesy, but after listening to it many times over I found it to be really catchy, 50 seconds in it really kicks ass. I find that if you take it too seriously you will be dissapointed… have an open mind i say. It’s a fun. catchy tune just to break the ice for their other tracks.
This song was just what i needed…. i’m falling in love with the strokes all over again!! I can’t get the chorus out of my head.
I think this album will be killer!
ur all idiots, its call inovating. they are tryin something knew, which kicks ass by the way. and also u r basing the whole new alubum on this one song and also if u knew a little bit more about music and the sturcture of music u wouldn think that room and on fire and is this it are so similar.
What the fuck is this?? What happened to the strokes…..I’d rather see a is this it 3.0 then this shit….if this is what coming up on their new album, I’ll never in my life by that shit..just one word..fucking horrible!!
Maybe, if I keep listening to it I’ll get brainwashed an I start to lika it, otherwise The Strokes are over
this song is AWESOME. i dont think itd be a one of their instant classics… i know theyre going to have even better ones.
i love it.
the fact that its getting people worked up and confused and surprised means theyre doing their job. i myself was surprised and i really like the bass and how its something new. as someone else said a while back, you have to give them credit for trying something new. what’s the point of listening to bands when you know what they’re gonna throw at you, and they do put out the same sound on all their records?
I have been waiting for a new strokes release for some time…and I am sincerely disappointed with the new single :S I am really a stroke lover since it was released its my favourite band but…hmmm…I am really scared that im not gonna like the new CD…I want to like this new single but I just dont…I hate the bassline :S
It’s great. I don’t see how most of you can hate it so much. It’s funny when he’s just talking/mumbling quickly, and when he starts singing–ahh, very nice.
Artist : The Strokes
Title : Juicebox
—————–
Everybody sees me
But it?s not that easy
Standing in the light field (standing in the light field)
Waiting for some action (waiting for some action)
Oh, but why won?t you come over here?
Why won?t you come over here?
We got a city to love.
Why won?t you come over here?
We got a city to love.
Old time grudges will die so slowly
I know you miss the way I saw you
And cold, you?re so cold, you?re so cold,
You?re so cold .
Nobody can see me
Everything?s too easy
Standing in the light field (standing in the light field)
Waiting for some action (waiting for some action)
Sister why won?t you come over here?
Why won?t you come over here?
We got a city to love.
Why won?t you come over here?
We got a city to love.
Old time lifts home will die so swiftly
You never trust me
For a while it was nice, but it?s time to say bye
Oh, cold, you?re so cold, you?re so cold, you?re so cold
No, no, no, cold, you?re so cold, you?re so cold, you?re so cold
Oh, no, no, no, no, cold, you?re so cold, you?re so cold, you?re so cold
Oh, you should go.
possible faults:
“Sister” could be “She said”
and “lifts home” could be anything, its near impossible to tell.
other than that, pretty much right i think.
You lot are damn hippies, The Strokes are good, so what if they sound different to alot of people ,i bet if they did the same kind of songs as before you would be complaining ‘its too old, they need something new.
Alot of theses haters aren’t into indie music in the first place and suck off on ‘greasy old men in leather jackets’ style like metallica, guns n roses, led zepplin.. who just get off on showing off how ‘talented’they are and making crap songs that need 25 hour solos to justify themselves and lead singers have whiny voices that litterally sound like someone is strangling cats.
The stokes are sharp and effective, back off its one song and all though i wouldnt say its a classic i thinks its still good. I dont actually think its that differnt anyway i could still idnetify it was the strokes so what more could you want.
It sure gets my foot a-tappin’.
it’s new and it’s great. better with every listen.
Everybody be cool, this is a robbery.
The new album will be stellar.
Guys it rocks!
korn meets scooby doo in a food processor. the lyrics are like julian casablancas was trying too hard to be julian casablancas. maybe it didn’t help that i heard it first on kroq. i love the strokes with all my heart and soul so i really really hope the rest of the album isn’t like this.
Man, this single fucking kicks. I have an ipod with 2500 songs and I just keep playing this over and over and over. It sucks the first couple of times you listen I’ll admit, but by the 4th time you get used to it and realize how genius it is. What a fresh sound!
To not like this song is stupid.
Love the song! (and The Strokes)
I LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOVE THIS *SAUNG*
GEE, GEE, GEEEEEEEEEEE!
You all talk about this song as if it is the whole album. C’mon wake up to yourselves. It is one song! Dont compare it to their previous stuff because obviously different + their previous stuff is hard to live up too. Its a good song, overall. Cant wait for the new album!
why is everyone complaining that that they are trying something new….its this stupid “fanboy” mentality…stick to the same formula and we’ll be happy….bullshit
ok try this…..if this song wasnt by the strokes but by somebody else would u like it…of course u would….but people think that the strokes have to keep coming back with the same old shit….fuck that, this song fucking rocks
rolling stone says the new album is gonna blow the old shit out of the water and i for one cant wait
You know, I like the way Tom Martin put it. It’s very true. I seriously like that they’re trying something new and so far it’s working very well. Keep your negative comments to yourself you ignorant bastards.
You know, I like the way Stupid Girl put it. It’s very true.
Juicebox rocks!
Ok seriously who are you KIDS? you obviously dont know GREATNESS when you hear it. Go to bed its probably past your bed time anyway!
I LOVE THE STROKES, I think their totally underated. By the way I LOVE “JUICE BOX”
I cant wait to see them in again
this is a great new song from the great rock and roll band The Strokes. Anyone who says otherwise was never a true fan of them and you suck.
I love Juice Box. The Strokes never cease to amaze me. I understand that they are trying something different but there is something about the song that reminds you that they are the Strokes. I’ll always love the way they can balance a song out to sound tough and yet, pretty at the same time. It’s truly a gift when a band can do that..and continue to do that like the Stokes have.
This song juicebox fucking rocks. And if you don’t like it, i’m going to give you a fucking kick in your ass. This song is gorgeous I just can’t stop listening to it over and over again.
Have you guys listened their new song I’ll try anything once? This sounds more to their old stuff (that means awesome).
THE STROKES RULE
i’m crazy of hearing their new album… I bet it sounds amazing.
when my friend first told me about it she said it takes a few listens to get use to it. I LOVED it the first time i heard it. It’s diff from their usual which is good cuz its not the same old strokes. I think this song is bad ass and its alwayyyss in my head. Im anxious to see how the rest of the cd is.
don’t hate, congradulate
This song is the shit!!! by the way how can you not like it!!!! being a bassist i think the bass line is totally funnie/cheesee but it fits well with the song totally. the strokes have improve musical wise anyway and the singer sounds much better now came out of his shell all you wankers saying it is a shit need beatin’s!!!
Franz Ferdinand with batman bass. Strokes tryin to sound too Glasgow for their own good.
I had mixed feelings the first few listens. Yes, Franz is in there somewhere, they’re trying hard to rock out(perhaps they toured with Kings of Leon too long), and the song is just too choppy for The Strokes we all thought we knew. But seriously, picture yourself at the next show, 11 beers and 3 joints deep… this song comes on and you’ll be rocking out like its, er, 1969??
Then again, 11 beers and 3 joints will make anyone rock out to Ted Nugent. I remain skeptical, but I’m waiting for the whole album.
I noticed how the song seems to be two different genres, there’s the franz ferdinand fast tempo rock and then there’s indie/ strokes sounding music (especially at the end) and I predict that there’s going to be quite a bit of both sounds on their next album so I hope they chose this as their first single because it has both styles to give you a taste of what you can expect from their new album. I also give credit to Julian for actually attempting to sing, as well as how they’re mixxing up a bunch of different styles, I’d rather see them try something new and fail then to wear out the same thing again. I mean I really loved both Is This It and Room On Fire and I definitly don’t complain about them sounding very similar but if they make their third album sound the same I definitly think that a lot of people will complain. I’ll wait and see until I hear some more stuff or more info on their new album before knocking it. You never know, we might all be surprised and have a kick ass album on our hands come January.
