Alice Bag is a Latina punk rock pioneer and a product of the same scene that gave us Black Flag and the Germs. She founded the early LA punk band the Bags and was featured in the seminal documentary The Decline Of Western Civilization. More recently, she’s written a couple of books, and now she’s coming back with a new self-titled album on Don Giovanni, the great DIY punk label. First single “No Means No” is an anti-rape anthem that also works as a catchy pop-punk song. Check it out below.
