Late night huh? I was never a huge fan of “Street Fighting Man” and this sure does not help. Just makes me want to watch ‘Dirty Work’. G7

i quit watching the oc after 2 minutes last nite when i realized ‘everyone hates chris’ was on. i thought it was funny.
Pretty cool version. I’ve always liked that Stones tune.
I caught a few minutes (most of the O.C. I’ve ever watched) and heard In the Aeroplane and almost shit my pants, but who the hell sang it??? That’s the last song I ever thought I’d hear on television.
According to the episode guide on Fox.com, good ‘ole matt pond PA came through with that cover.
i can’t believe anyone would even attempt to cover that song. matt pond PA can suck it.

The entire Lake Trout album is really good, their best yet. And I love the Stones cover. I was put off a little at first, but it grew on me. Interesting, lighter take.
I think I have this song on a CD sampler that I picked up at some point during CMJ. It pretty much sent me rushing head-first to the nearest toilet.
i dont understand why people attempt to cover the stones– its not as if there isnt room in the arrangment for songs like “you cant always get what you want” to cover.. rather, i just dont see doing a better job then jagger on vocals
Cat Power’s cover of “I Can’t Get No (Satisfaction)” is pretty decent.
