Roger Waters Does Marc Maron’s WTF
Roger Waters recently opened up about recording his first studio album since 1992’s Amused To Death with Nigel Godrich, and he talks a little bit more about his new work in the latest episode of Marc Maron’s WTF podcast. The Pink Floyd frontman is the show’s most recent guest, and the two of them sat down for a 90-minute-long talk about “why he only now feels like he’s getting it right.”
He also discusses the upcoming American election, saying that Republican nominee Donald Trump is “just as dangerous” as Adolf Hitler. “It’s a short step to all out-total fascism, a complete police state. It’s always insidious when it creeps up. It was insidious in Germany in the ’30s. National Trumpism feels a bit less insidious, but it’s just as dangerous,” he says (via NME).
