The Weeknd has invested his songs about cocaine and fucking with such a wide appeal that he now gets to sing those songs on daytime TV shows. That is some kind of achievement! On Friday, the Weeknd released his new album Starboy. And earlier today, he went on Ellen to stand amidst laser beams and sing its dark, streamlined title track. He sounded good singing it, and he looked as comfortable hugging Ellen DeGeneres as he ever looks doing anything. Watch the performance below.
