This third video from Hot Chip’s Made In The Dark LP features James Murphy. In case you forgot, James Murphy of LCD Soundsystem fame is a DFA honcho and noted jujitsu master, of which he reminds us by wearing a DFA tee and annihilating a punching bag. Meanwhile, the Hot Chip dudes play with their “love is a wrestling match” metaphors with ring mics, garbage bag workout outfits, and championship belts. Also there lyrical references to steel cage matches, which reminds me: Jimmy Superfly Snuka is a man that exists. And is insane. And can fly.

they’re also fighting over Al Doyle, who LCD filtched for their Sound of Silver tour…though nothing really seems to get resolved. Good setup, but not much follow-through.
