Former Boston Drummer Dies During Classic Rock Cruise Set
Sib Hashian, former drummer for classic-rock institution Boston, died recently after suffering from a heart attack while performing, as TMZ reports. Hashian was part of the Legends Of Rock cruise, which set sail earlier this week in Florida. Hashian was 67.
Hashian joined Boston in 1975, replacing original drummer Jim Masdea. He played on the band’s first two albums, including the monumentally popular self-titled debut. In the early ’80s, Hashian left the band, with Masdea coming back in to replace him.
