The Game Sues Viacom For $20M Over Sexual Assault Verdict
Last fall, the Game was ordered to pay $7.13 million dollars in a sexual assault case brought about by Priscilla Rainey, who alleged that the Game assaulted her during the filming of reality show She’s Got Game in May 2015. Now, per TMZ, the Game is suing Viacom — the parent company of VH1, who aired the show — for $20 million dollars, saying that because they cast Rainey on the show despite a doctor recommending she not participate, they should cover the lawsuit fee plus $13 million in damages. The Game says that they ignored Rainey’s past in hopes of getting better ratings. Viacom has not publicly responded at this time.
