Last night, the ascendant young singer-songwriter Maggie Rogers played her second straight show at the new New York venue Brooklyn Steel. And at the end of the night, Brooklyn badass Sharon Van Etten put in a guest appearance, joining Rogers onstage for a happy, messy cover of Sheryl Crow’s anthemic 1996 banger “If It Makes You Happy.” This looks like something that would’ve been fun to see.
