We totally heart Sarah Silverman and write about her all the time. She was the best part of The Aristocrats, Mr. Show, Pilot Season, and Saturday Night Live ‘93-’94.
Jesus Is Magic (based on her hilarious stage show) opens nationwide next Friday, and we’re giving away two tickets to the NYC premiere on Monday. We might even tell you where the afterparty is.

I don’t live in NYC, but I love to listen to Thrice while I drink Mountain Dew, eat Extreeeeeme Cheddar Doritos, and watch the X-Games. Angry youth represent!

god, Sarah Silverman is hot, but she’s so fucking lame. She’s been peddling the same act since 2001 and they’re the same jokes that you’ve read in every magazine profile. Even during her 2003 stand-up her act was incredibly tired, so why anyone wants to see this film is beyond me. Anyone who thinks a 4-year-old act is subversive or trangressive is delusional. It’s just stale. Get some new jokes and we might love you again.

sarah silverman the best part of mr. show is like saying buffalo nickels are the best part about america… so its debatable— but if you look hard enough you can find most of here material online, look for her appearance on conan about 7 years ago. fuck- jerry minor was the best part of mr. show.
