First off, the pictures you posted weren’t all that flattering. Second, I’ve seen Neko live with the New Pornographers. Love her voice, think she’s wonderfully talented, but, seriously, she’s just okay-looking and comes off as just sort of friendly rather than sexy. Haven’t seen Rilo Kiley live, so I can’t really compare her to Lewis, though.
Katrina Kerns is attractive up close, but not bogglingly so. Kind of bland, actually. Showing that it’s all in the ‘tude, though, Corin Tucker is pretty hot live, despite having pretty average looks.
I’ve seen few, if any, attractive pictures of Eleanor Friedberger, Feist, Amy Millan, or Karen O. Either their photos don’t do them justice or perhaps we’re confusing fandom with attraction?
Eleanor and Feist are cute. I wouldn’t say hot, but I think they’re very pretty, but more of a unique pretty, if that makes sense. Unconventional beauties, perhaps?
