Unfortunately it’s a clay statue, not a viral video. Freaky twist: it’s pro-life art.

“Britney provides inspiration for those struggling with the ‘right choice,’” said artist Daniel Edwards.

Shakira’s statue‘s stance on a woman’s right to choose remains unclear. But judging by the photo, it’s anti-feet. (Thanks J!)

In related Britney news, today’s Daily News says that Mrs. Federline was downing shots during Kevin’s birthday party at Tao in Vegas the other day. So no lil’ sibling for Sean Preston … yet.

Guys listen up. You can’t give birth, you don’t have a vagina, and you know absoutely nothing about birthing positions. Squatting or sitting using a birthing stool are the proper positions. And it is completely possible to have a baby on all fours. It is more difficult and painful, but not impossible. As well there is nothing sexual about having a baby. It is simply a miracle and no one has a right to desecrate it.

This statue is the epitome of Britney’s tacky taste. Sorry, but wolves in art truly smack of those dumb looking plates you see splattered on the back of TV Guide. Passe. Then there’s Brit herself: this, coming from a woman who had two c-sections! Not only that, but women do NOT go through childbirth in such a position. I like the way the rest of her body is miraculously slimmed down and the muscles in her arms are so well-defined. You don’t get a body like that from slugging down 50 bottles of coke/pepsi daily on top of that mountain of junk food!
And she’s so “pro-life”! Good God, what does this girl know about life? Not what I’d call a shining example.
To sum it up, the statue is only what I can label as “doggy style at its worst”.

Incidentally, in response to a comment posted above, declaring that women can, indeed, give birth in that position, well duh! Labor is involuntary! Unless the mother dies during childbrith, that baby’s going to come out, hell or high water. Women in comas give birth. However, as a woman who has borne a few children of my own, I can say with certainty that this is one position I’d NEVER have assumed. She may as well have been standing on her head!
And while I agree that birthing isn’t what I’d call a display of sexuality, that pose is pretty salacious. Say what you will, but I think it does everything BUT lend dignity to the miracle of bringing a child into the world. If the rug fits, wear it.
