Finally got around to it, and this MySpace parody is pretty funny (way funnier than that pathetic Digital Short SNL tried to pull off last night). Plus, Celeste’s friend’s band The Fresh wrote the song. On MySpace it’s always a small word!

The guy playing the guitar … is playing it right-handed and it doesn’t look like the guitar has been re-strung. Who’s he trying to be? Jimi Hendrix?
I can’t tell if he’s intentionally “faking it” in the video … or this is a subtle joke … because he definitely looks like he’s grabbing a G and a D chord in there … but backwards.
Was the video “reversed” like so many MySpace in-the-bathroom-mirror self-portraits?

Scott’s right. It was alright until the whole chorus about the testicles. I was expecting a better payoff. But I liked Tom Hanks acting like Right Said Fred in a kitchen.

I second Holly’s kudos for “Trendspotting”. Myspace related humor is so rarely funny. There was a myspace “movie” that someone put up that was painfully bad after the first 30 seconds. Someone else can waste time posting a link, I won’t give it 30 seconds more of my time.
