Incidentally, one of the best concerts I ever saw was a taping of CMT Crossroads: Elton John & Ryan Adams that never aired because Ryan Adams didn’t show up! Pro that he is, Elton played solo and blew everyone away in the intimate setting.
He sure is a cranky old bitch, though. Maybe he’s pissed Mick Jagger can have a TV show in America and Elton can’t.
