And now for something completely different.

Senegal’s Cheikh Lo, a protege of Youssou N’Dour, has his third album out on Nonesuch. It features a 40-person Brazillian percussion group and former James Brown arranger Pee Wee Ellis on sax.

“There is not one weak track on this album,” says Associated Press.
