Shades of Aimee Mann on “Kiss Me ‘Til It Bleeds,” the first single from Nina’s second solo album Bleeding Heart Graffiti (out 8/8). But, ultimately, it’s pretty dull.

Yeah, it’s dull. It sounds like it was written specifically for inclusion in some “very special” episode of One Tree Hill. And it’s really ashame, because she obviously has some songwriting chops and she can sing… but the production and execution of these songs is just to slick for her own good.

I actually like the song a lot. I think her solo record was great, and I’m really looking forward to the new album. Maybe I’m just excited to have new music from her.
oh god, courtney jaye SUCKS. I can see why she was kicked off Island Records haha. Nina wrote the majority of the song, poor courtney is just trying to pass of the song as hers.
