The Dears return this fall with Gang Of Losers. On this go ’round the critically-acclaimed Montreal dreampoppers promise an infusion of stripped-down, straight up rock ‘n’ roll.

“Our dream was to do it live. One of the biggest inspirations to us in the approach of making this new album was some of the radio sessions we did while on tour. That nervousness and immediacy that happens when you play live — we wanted to bring that onto the record.”

We say: success. (But, thankfully, not a huge departure from No Cities Left.) You’ll dig this cut.

You can also stream “Bandwagoneers” on MySpace. Losers gets a domestic release 10/3 from our friends at Arts & Broken Social Crafts.

  1. Hooray for new Dears. Greatly underrated band, if you ask me.

  2. Ditto.
