While you were out dressed like Ashley Todd or Barack Obama as a Mac Genius, Death Cab donned some lower-key disguises for their Friday night appearance on the Leno show — Nick Harmer as Zack Galifianakis, Ben Gibbard as a man with a 31″ waist and cheekbones, etc. Oh right, that’s just what they look like these days … so then it was just a Halloween-free Halloween performance in L.A. for those old lovers of L.A.. (Really guys, how about at least an oversized scorpion on stage?) The song is “Cath…,” the sound is good, and the onstage movement not very screengrab friendly.
You can watch in higher resolution after a short advertisement at Hulu.

it’s a strange thing when nick harmer is by far the best looking guy in a band.
I don’t know how you could possibly not dress as something for Halloween. They should have been the Misfits, that would have been weirdly hilarious.
should have been subtitled “and lame music too.”
This song doesn’t work well live… Either does Jay Leno…
i liked it.
i liked it too, but it’s nowhere close to ben on conan doing i will follow you into the dark.
I think BG should really be given props, he looks awesome and has dropped a stack of weight, though it doesn’t seem like DCFC without the thick brimmed glasses..
good song plus ben looks great. 2 thumbs up!
