“You’re A Holy Man” comes from Nina Nastasia’s forthcoming sixth album Outlaster. In keeping with its subject, the song has a religious feel to it — the somber pace, drone cadences, heady string sawing. The album, per usual, was recorded by Steve Albini and features string/woodwind quartets, a small orchestra, drummer Jay Bellerose and Tortoise’s Jeff Parker on guitar. Nastasia remains front, center.
