There’s something comforting about the irrepressible career of “Weird Al” Yankovic. Despite changing trends he’ll always deliver goofy songs and videos that truly embrace his dorkitude. And they’re pretty much just as good (or inane, depending on your sense of humor) as the novelty tunes he was peddling in the ’80s. Sure, this Chamillionaire parody isn’t something you’d want on your iPod, but … it’s “Weird Al”: you’re probably curious to watch the video ’cause he made you laugh when you were twelve.

  11. Weird Al makes a song called “Don’t Download This Song,” and the RIAA yanks off his video from YouTube. Amazing.

It was a good video while it was still on YouTube. Shame.

  12. “Ridin’ Dirty” by Chamillionaire.

I smiled throughout. Nice work, Weirdo.

  34. David Stone  |   Posted on Oct 1st, 2006

no, I wouldn’t want it on my ipod, because I don’t have one. There are so many other types of personal portable music players. We’re not all trend monkeys.

Weird Al is cool, not dorky. He has not only comedic talent, but also musical; he writes original songs too.

A less disrespectful tone would be nice.

  36. da momb  |   Posted on Oct 30th, 2006

i love this video. my 14 yo turned me on to it and i immediately put it on my bebo. weird al is a lyrical genious along the lines of eminem.

  37. mr spleen  |   Posted on Nov 3rd, 2006

weird al is the best. i personally like his song albuquerque, but white and nerdy is next. plus the video is awsome (you cant make a video for an 11 minute long song very easily can you?)

  38. Who is dancing behind Weird Al? Is that Donny Osmond.

  39. Jamal  |   Posted on Feb 4th, 2007
