FoW’s “Valley Winter Song” is featured in a new holiday-themed L.L. Bean commercial, which means you get to listen to it while watching a person dressed way better than you and who lives in a house much nicer than yours, play with an obedient pedigree dog, smile warmly as their private-schooled kids make snow angels, and otherwise pretend the economy isn’t collapsing around them: Happy Holidays.

great song from that miserable, ultimately dignity-ruining record. as far as ll bean goes, their jackets are still like hundreds of dollars cheaper than northface, their backpacks are sweeter and more OG than that timbuk2 crap, and their outdoor equipment is way more affordable than the selection at cabelas.

    how do i know this?

I LIVE LIKE 25 MILES AWAY FROM THE ORIGINAL LL BEAN STORE

  5. easy guy, L.L. Bean is supposed to be somewhat affordable.

  6. To be fair, Maine (where LL Bean is the biggest employer, or something) is doing pretty good economic wise.
