Vampire Weekend made to The Colbert Report last night, sharing a stage for the second time this week with Colbert (both were at O’Brien’s Radio City Music Hall show earlier this week). As with the Hold Steady, Colbert did a quick interview with the band before they performed. Unlike his interview with the Hold Steady, Colbert kept the conversation very light, making fun of the band’s ultra casual appearance and drummer Christopher Tomson’s hygiene, before taking offense at their disregard for the Oxford comma. The band reappeared to do “Holiday.”
