Might wanna clone yourself during the headliner hours. From the first announce Lollapalooza set itself apart with an unusually robust slate of headliners, and since Lolla’s one of the few fests concurrently running two headliners a night, it set itself apart for maximum FOMO potential. The schedule’s now in; so is the headache. Friday night you can either watch the Strokes’ first U.S. show in four years (8:30PM) or see how what Lady Gaga can do with a $150,000 stage show (8PM). (Yes, there’s 30 minutes there, but Grant Park takes a year to traverse.) Sunday night it’s the return of Arcade Fire (8:30PM) or the big Soundgarden reunion (8PM). Saturday might be the easiest — Green Day (7:45) or a Cut Copy/Phoenix double-up. Remember Chicago has that 10PM sound curfew, so when these sets end … the night is just beginning. Here’s the full schedule in case you wanna play spot the conflict with the rest of the days:

As long as we see Ed Kowalczyk, Amrit.
I was mostly just joking, but Saturday night that guy tending bar at the Woods really did look like Ed. I guess we’ll have 15 minutes in Chicago to confirm one way or the other.
I was just about to ask about that — is he seriously on for 15 minutes between Rocknoceros and Recess Monkey on the Kids’ Stage?
having a gf does not bode well for the strokes/gaga problem… wtf lolla
time to get a new gf
So much wrong with this schedule, especially Sunday … frightened rabbit and mute math at the same time then MGMT and Wolfmother and then Arcade Fire and Soundgarden … why do that??? I like Saturday’s flow of being able to go to Stars, the xx, Grizzly Bear, Metric, Spoon, Cut Copy and Phoenix, but I think Rogue Wave got hozed … why put them so early? I would have given them the Metric or Cut Copy spot over those bands easy.
is it wrong that I actually wanna see Ed?
I blame the sound curfew for the weak lineup…
Bonnaroo lineup was way better. Lolla you messed up.
