#Zero with a Bullet (it comes with the Twitter tag built in) is the upcoming album from David Dondero. It’s got a travel theme, as you can see from its cover and the title of this first sample from it, “Wherever You Go.” Depending on where you look, the title comes from a piece of Christian philosophy, Buckaroo Banzai, or your dad. All the contexts kind of work here. The track takes about a minute to get going, but then it turns into a series of place names, surreal images, and inside jokes over a subdued banjo melody.

#Zero with a Bullet is out 8/3 via Team Love.
