So Me added some visual poetry to MGMT’s sophomore LP narrative with his video for “It’s Working,” which had the lads swallowed whole by a finely packaged idea factory. Pretty neat/relevant. The Stereolab-gone-Zombies jam, one of Congratulations‘ high points, gets placed in French hands again, here with a remix by the cushy electronic masters of Air. Godin and Duckel wear a Rev and Vega costume out front, hiding behind a pattering beat and Suicide synths before eventually dropping the disguise and taking the track into a piano-plinked kraut lounge. It’s nice.
