On Foreign Lands, Denton quartet Teenage Cool Kids plowed through messy anthems like the Descendents via clunky ’90s lo-fi and slacker indie rock (and Small Brown Bike). After listening to a couple of the songs from the forthcoming Denton After Sunset, I hear larger doses of mellowed Butterglory or Silver Jews creeping into the mix, but the guys can still put all those extra calories to good use, and on “Volvo To A Kiss.”

so there’s already an act called the Cool Kids and the Teenagers and this gorup decides to call themselves The Teenage Cool Kids?
Sorry but I’ll go ahead and judge them as unoriginal off the bat (not like the other two acts had inventive names in the first place)…and yes, I did listen to the song anyway; nothing too special
