People like arguing about Nachtmystium. (They’re sort of M.I.A. for metal kids.) So far I’ve posted Addicts‘s “No Funeral” — aka “Burzum On The Dance Floor” — and the melancholic Yakuza-assisted 8-minute closer “Every Last Drop.” “Blood Trance Fusion” is one of the more concise blasts on the collection. Like everything on Addicts, though, it offers a few wrinkles (here, sci-fi synth tweaks, gurgles). Take a listen while you read up on their Stereogum/Haunting The Chapel-presented first North American headlining tour.
Addicts: Black Meddle Pt. II is out 6/8 via Century Media. A few weeks ago I was asked if Haunting The Chapel would want to sponsor an upcoming North American Nachtmystium tour. I asked for more details: It’s a month-long trek through the States and Canada with crusty, bluesy Georgia doom trio Zoroaster, down-tempo Florida duo Dark Castle, and expansive tri-guitar psych/sludge crew the Atlas Moth — all bands I enjoy — so I said “of course.” Here’s the itinerary as well as additional MP3s to get you ready for when the circus blows through your town.

Richmond is in VIRGINIA, not north carolina!
Typo. But I should’ve caught that. My brother lived there for years. Fixed.
Also, turns out the label had the date wrong for Richmond. Note the shift from 24th to 23rd!
Also you spelled Zoolander wrong
Fuck yes, Atlanta date!
love how dark castle and zoroaster just finished a tour together…those bands go together soo well
Thanks for the Toronto date. It’s actually at Lee’s Palace not Place.
I wonder why they never fucking play Indiana
