Guided By Voices (1995)

The revival of Guided By Voices’ ’92-’96 line-up is sure to be a highlight of Matador’s 21st Birthday Festival in Vegas this fall. If you can’t make it, you’re in luck. The label’s bash is apparently just the start of a US jaunt in which Tobin Sprout, Charles “Mitch” Mitchell, Greg Demos, and Kevin Fennel will join Robert Pollard in performing the group’s most beloved songs. 1. well shit, this day just got substantially more badass. unless i somehow die between then and now, see you in portland GBV.

  2. Best band of my lifetime. Best band lineup of my lifetime. I cannot wait.

  3. This is so incredibly awesome! Along with Pavement, I’m now able to cross off another on my “all-time must see” list!

I wonder who will play bass? It would be great if it was Greg Demos, but my money’s on Chris Slusarenko. No offense to him.

  4. “Save them for the Best of Jill Hives.”
