Hood’s Chris Adams makes his debut as Bracken, a collection of shady, down-tempo electronica and experimental swooners, for fans of Lali Puna’s I Thought I Was Over That and Boards of Canada’s Geogaddi. “Four Thousand Style” is all in the spacious groove and ambient instrumentals, tied together by Adams’s lonely-hearted vox. We like.

    This album is really amazing. Definitely references mentioned. I never liked Hood, but I think Chris should just focus on this stuff from now on.
