She & Him played “Don’t Look Back” on Craig Furguson’s show, and it looks like Zooey Deschanel has gotten better at the live TV performance. She doesn’t seem as frightened as she did on Kimmel or Letterman (there’s soft eye contact, a little smiling). The touring months between those April appearances and this one must have helped her nerves.
Volume Two is out via Merge.

I dug this song.
Do you ever think M Ward really enjoys this sid project because he just gets to focus on playing the guitar, and doesn’t have to worry about juggling singing and playing. Interestingly though, his guitar parts are much more simplistic in She & Him.
Going by the interviews I’ve read, M. Ward plays a pretty role in the production and arrangement of the songs in the studio. Although his guitar parts may not particularly stand out, I think he has a pretty significant impact on the group’s sound.
Do you ever think M ward really enjoys this side project because he gets to hang out with Zooey all the freakin’ time?
I really really love this song, and I hope there’s music video for it, and btw yes she’s not so nervous , like she did when she’s singing in the sun on letterman ( so stiff ), talk about Zooey nervous just check on youtube when Zooey first got interviewed by letterman ( when her hair was blonde ) , she’s so freakinnnggg nervous, just check it, cute tho
Yes , I think M Ward play big role for she and him, I’ve read that in the sun song should be slower but M ward said ” let’s make our Bee Gees” and Ta-DAH

Wow! They sounded really good here. I guess the touring really helped. This may sound better than the album version.
