From White Hinterland’s “6669 (I Don’t Know If You Know)” to Texas Townes Van Zandt fan Jesse Woods’ “Mind Drips” and now Luke Temple & Co’s take on “Deadbeat Summer,” it feels like everyone’s covering Neon Indian these days.

The Neon Indian love continues on 9/28 when Psychic Chasms gets re-released on double vinyl by Fader/Static Tongue with a bonus disc, Mind Ctrl: Psychic Chasms Possessed, that includes remixes and/or covers by Toro Y Moi, Le Tigre, Javelin, YACHT, etc. For all this attention, Alan Palomo better cure cancer or start a United Chillwave College Fund in 2011.

Needs more Dwight Howard.

I would of never guessed that this was a Neon Indian cover.
