Slash is set to pen his autobiography. This oughta be good. Via Blabbermouth:
Matthew Flamm of Crain’s New York Business reports that former GUNS N’ ROSES and current VELVET REVOLVER guitarist Slash just sold his autobiography to HarperCollins. The British born, California-raised axeman will work with writer Anthony Bozza, who helped MÖTLEY CRÜE drummer Tommy Lee pen his memoir, “Tommyland”. The manuscript is due to be delivered in the fall.
Let’s play “Name Slash’s Autobiography.” Post your entry by Tuesday 2/27 at 6PM EST. Best title wins a copy of the book, whenever it comes out. Given how much Jack and Stoli the guitarist consumed through the ’80s, we’re thinking it may take awhile to piece together. Still, betcha it’s out before Chinese Democracy.
UPDATE: And the book goes to … Nick with his gem Appetite For Deconstruction. Granted, that’s a better GN’R bio title than one for solely Slash, but it’s so good that the publishers should just snatch it up! Nick, we’ll be in touch and you’ll get a copy when the book comes out. Congrats!
