This Broken Bells video is in 3D! Maybe now their music will take some shape? Broken Bells — the better-on-paper team-up of James Mercer, a man otherwise capable of mainlining melodies into my brain, and Danger Mouse, one of the last decade’s more inventive producers — never really clicked, mostly just dragged for me. So it’s fitting that this new video is all about getting mouse clicks and drags from me. “October”‘s video is a 3-dimensional experience, through which you cruise with your cursor through a galaxy of shapes and figures, people and cones, controlling your path with the movement of your mouse. Which definitely is one way to make your music engaging. Explore the depths of “October” at brokenbells.com/october.

I’m into it until the chorus- That segment is pretty weak. I am not, however, into the Broken Bells dissing going on up there. I think this album was everything I hoped for, and a successful collaboration IMHO. A delightful listen start to finish.
I agree with you, I enjoyed the Broken Bells album consistently, but apparently this writer did not.
Doesn’t work for me..I just see lights moving and the word ‘october’
Yeah, Broken Bells is amazing.

Wow, Amrit, you really tore them a new one, right off the bat.
