In addition to unexpectedly championing Spank Rock and predictably pimping Liars, Thom Yorke placed a Bat For Lashes track (“Horses And I”) atop his iTunes playlist, saying “Natsha Khan of Bat For Lashes ain’t scared … this song seems to come from the world of Grimm’s fairytales.” The shout-out added to the steady-building buzz for the Brighton-based chanteuse and last year’s debut Fur And Gold. Since, she’s re-recorded another of the album’s finer moments, “Prescilla” releasing it as a single next month and filming her debut vid in the process. Pakistani by descent, Kate Bush-y by sound, Natasha owns the camera in this surrealist clip like a halcyon Chan Marshall. We like her. A lot. (Thanks, Jose)

I didn’t think that I could love this song more, but the addition of the brass section for this single version is lovely.

Yay. I loved it. So funny. And the music was beautiful too.
Wow, how’d I miss this. It took me a second watch to get the rediculous humor but luckily the song hooked me for a second listen. Great and fun vid.
