Yes this is what it has come to; solving sinus congestion the Grizzly Bear way! Actually, this is a fun clip of the guys looking hella disheveled as a camera crew wakes the bunking Bears and discovers their secret to keeping clear breathing passages: the neti pot. It’s an ancient yogic tool to facilitate pranayama, but in the hands of Chris Bear it’s so fucking indie rock. Watch and learn at MuchMusic.com.

Slow news day in Canada, too. Huh?

  6. caralee from xiu xiu rolls with one of these as well. i think it’s a little gross, but if people want to water board themselves, then by all means.

  7. i’ve heard netti pots are pretty awesome, however i would probably fuck it up and get warm netti water down my throat. but anyways, i imagine i would try anything to keep away sickness while on tour.

  8. isnt a netti pot in some movie? something ive seen recently. someone gets it as a gift. its really funny.

also, this is really the best band of all time.

  9. Is this anything like when you’re a kid with major sinus clogging, being sent to the doctor’s office, where they lay you on the table, stick a tube in your nose, tell you to say “fa la la”, and on the last “la” they super-shoot salt water in, then suck it out?

‘Cause if it is, it sucks possum ass.

Those guys are clueless neti noobs. You use salt and water. pffft baking soda, they need to get schooled.

doctors recommend baking soda. I used salt for awhile then realized after that baking soda is better for you. who’s the noob now? check with your dr, you’ll see

Not that it matters much, but it is Chris Taylor doing his netti thing, not Chris Bear. Also, salt, when the correct ratio of water to salt is an excellent nasal irrigation method, typically using a WaterPic type device.
